Tobias Mayer: Metamodel for cooperative solving of complex problems in dynamic environments

Abstract


More and more devices of the everyday life are becoming equipped with an embedded system, being able to perform individual calculations for additional benefits. Often these systems are faced with complex and dynamic problems. These need to be solved in a distributed way due to their physical distribution. The cooperation of participated entities plays a key-role for this problem solving. A structured approach could support a comprehensible solution development and provide time-savings. Therefore, with this dissertation, a metamodel shall be developed that serves not only as structured approach but also provides the possibility to transfer solutions inside a specific class of problems.
In this presentation the topic is presented as an overview. Because this dissertation is still at the beginning, it mainly describes the topic and the steps of work as a kind of schedule but also already available results.
